My son is 23, going on 24. But Star Wars is till the thing that thrills him, so I thought I'd get this cute card for him this year. I mean, I get one every year, but I felt like this was the least insulting of the cards being offered. Another one made me feel sad about what he was doing with his life, and I thought he might sense that, so this one was the least judgey. I mean, you can't argue with being a year older on your birthday, can you? Yoda looks all wise and green, as he is supposed to do on both the cover and interior of the card. There is no space to write on the right side of the interior, but the left side has kind of a starburst pattern, which a good black pen will be visible over, so that's where I'll write all that mom/love stuff. The entire message of the card is (cover - which is in all caps) "Another year older, you are." (Interior) "Still so amazing, you look. Happy Birthday." The picture of Yoda is pretty much the same on cover and in the interior, it's just that the inside view is a little closer. So I think this card would work for a Star Wars fan of any age, but especially appropriate for those OLDER fans, where the "still so amazing" makes a little more sense. And I know there are a ton of older SW fans out there, so don't be embarrassed if your husband is one of them. We're all nerds here. The card is of pretty solid stock, although the envelope is a bit on the ordinary side. Just plain white, but the card fits in it, so at least you've got that. Not sure if you'll need extra postage, but it will certainly make a big impression when the birthday boy/girl receives it. An unusual bit of fun for fans of the movie/franchise. Card produced by American Greetings and probably licensed through Disney, which also has its name on the back. Still, I'm sure my son will love it! Glad I ordered it for him. "A" quality item.
